Brief CV

Vasilis Katselas is a Civil Engineer, graduate of Democritus University of Thrace, holding a Master’s Degree in Hydraulic Engineering and Environment.

He has experience in projects related to the surveying, restoration, and maintenance of cultural heritage monuments, as well as in the construction of luxury residential buildings, with a strong background in construction, project management, and principles of health, safety, and environmental protection.

Since May 2020, he has been part of ALUMIL, working as an Engineer Consultant in the Sales Department, focusing on technical support for projects and collaborating Engineers and Architects. Since October 2022, he has been a member of the Architectural Aluminium Academy, initially as a Senior Technical Trainer, and currently holds the position of Scientific Lead of Technical Training.

In his current role, he is responsible for the design and implementation of specialized training programs and seminars, with an emphasis on architectural aluminium systems, the building envelope, and sustainable construction, addressed to Architects and Engineers. At the same time, he holds the scientific responsibility for the technical training of Alumil employees and provides technical support to individual departments of the company.

He participates in research programs that connect industry with the academic and research community, aiming at the development of innovative solutions for the building envelope and the promotion of sustainable and circular construction.
