Following the three seminars we held during January in Thessaloniki, Chania, and Larissa, our team is organizing another seminar for engineers in cooperation with ALUMIL and the Technical Chamber of Greece – Regional Department of Western Greece. The seminar on “Energy saving: Top priority in building design“, held by Mr. Nikolaos Keramidas, Architectural Engineer I.U.A.V. and Technical Training Supervisor of Architectural Aluminium Academy, will take place on Thursday, March 16, 17:30-20:00, at the building of the TCG/RDWG (40, Trion Navarchon, Patras) and is addressed to engineers of all specialties, technical companies and students of Technical Universities.
Aiming to inform engineers about sustainable building design and construction, the trends that will determine the future of the construction industry, the new seminar focuses on new materials and the critical contribution of frames to energy saving. Specifically, the seminar will analyze the following topics:
- Energy condition of existing buildings.
- Models of new buildings – Passive buildings.
- Energy saving through proper design and construction of the building’s shell.
- Frame installation: Their effect on the energy performance of new buildings.
